Santa Maria Injury Crash
On Tuesday, a two-car crash in Santa Maria sent at least two injured victims to the hospital. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened sometime after 6:00 a.m., on West Betteravia Road at Ray Road. For currently unknown reasons, the two vehicles collided, and one of the cars ended up on its side.
Occupants in one of the vehicles fled the scene on foot. First responders had to free two victims from the other vehicle, which came to rest in a ditch. Those victims were rushed to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. There’s no word on whether or not the fleeing occupants have been located. Very few details have been released about this crash, which is likely still under investigation with law enforcement officials.
