Fatal Rollover Crash in Santa Maria
Last Saturday morning, a one-car rollover crash took the life of 24-year-old William Douglas Rogers. According to KEYT News Channel Three, Rogers was driving his Chevy Silverado near the intersection of E. Clark Avenue and Dominion Road just before the wreck. Investigators with the California Highway Patrol report that he sped through a stop sign before his truck catapulted over a fence. The vehicle flipped over and came to rest on its roof in a pasture.
Rogers was pronounced dead on the scene. Officials with Santa Barbara County Fire, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department and the California Highway Patrol were on the scene.
